Privacy policy
How NexGenus collects, uses and protects personal information, in Australia and in Vietnam.

1. Who we are
NexGenus (ABN to be inserted) is an Australian company with a head office in South Yarra, Victoria, and delivery centres in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, Vietnam. This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing services.
2. What we collect
Contact details you submit through our forms or by email (name, company, email, phone, state, the software you use and the message you send); website analytics data; and, in the course of providing services to clients, personal information contained in client files — for example payroll or accounts data — which we process on the client's behalf.
3. Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, scope and deliver services, manage client relationships, recruit staff, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information.
4. Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)
Personal information in client files may be accessed by our staff in Vietnam on virtual desktops within the client's or our controlled environment. Before we do so we bind our Vietnamese entity contractually to the Australian Privacy Principles, complete a Data Transfer Impact Assessment as required by Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law (in force from 1 January 2026), and restrict access on a role basis. Client data is not copied to local devices in Vietnam.
5. Security
Role-based access, logged virtual desktop sessions, encryption in transit and at rest in the systems we control, and IP assignment and confidentiality obligations in every individual employment agreement.
6. Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by emailing info@nexgenus.com.au. We respond within 30 days.
7. Complaints
Complaints may be made to info@nexgenus.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
8. Changes
This policy is reviewed annually. Last updated August 2026.
