Production capacity that fits inside Australian regulation
This is not a compliance footnote — it defines the product. Take-offs and estimating are unrestricted in every jurisdiction. Detailing inside AS 1684 span tables, NASH deemed-to-satisfy solutions and the certified nail-plate software envelope sits within the prescriptive-standard exemption. Anything outside that envelope — non-standard spans, AS 4100 connection design, LGS design beyond NASH solutions — is done only under the documented direct supervision of your registered engineer.
Every drawing, schedule and estimate leaves us marked "prepared for and under the direction of the client's registered practitioner". That answers the liability question before it is asked — and it is how the Victorian and New South Wales regimes require offshore production to work.

Every NexGenus relationship starts with a paid pilot — a defined piece of work at a fixed fee, reviewed by a named Australian reviewer, measured on first-pass yield. Only when that proves itself does it become a dedicated seat, and then a team. We never lead with a headcount.

An institution, not an agency
We do not place contractors and move on. We recruit qualified civil, structural and construction engineers and experienced detailers, train them on Australian standards and the software our clients run, and publish the ladder they climb — Estimator, Senior Estimator, Detailer, Senior Detailer, Team Leader.
That matters commercially as well as culturally. A trained detailer is the asset in this business, so retention is designed in: market pay with published bands, sponsored certification, named succession plans, and a bonus that rewards the delivery team for every client relationship they keep. The person who learned your job last year is still on your job this year.

NexGenus grew out of the offshore estimating and detailing team of a Melbourne frame and truss manufacturer. That team quotes and details real houses in Victoria every day — wall frames, roof trusses, floor systems — in the plant's own nail-plate software, checked by the plant's senior detailers before anything is released to the factory floor.
It means we learned the job from the buyer's side: what a plant needs back, how a builder's tender actually gets priced, what a Victorian QA reviewer rejects. That is the standard we bring to every client.
